Barrington earns top football playoff seed

CRANSTON - Barrington clinched the No. 1 seed for the Division I football playoffs Sunday night as the Eagles posted a 28-0 victory over Cranston West at Cranston Stadium.
The victory gives the Eagles a final 7-1 regular season Division I record and clinched both the Division's top playoff seed and at least a regular season co-championship.
David Silvia led the Barrington attack with two touchdowns. The Eagles quickly settled the issue by scoring 21 points in the first quarter.
