Wheeler-Smithfield field hockey semi moved to Friday because of light failure

Because of a problem with the lights at Classical's Al Morro Athletic Complex, Thursday's Division II semifinal field hockey game between Wheeler and Smithfield has been postponed to Friday at 5 p.m. at Classical.

Classical and Pilgrim were able to play the earlier semifinal game Thursday while there was still daylight. Classical prevailed, 2-1, and advances to the Division II final, Sunday at 3 p.m. at Cranston Stadium.
