Scituate takes Game 1 of Division III best-of-three softball series

Kristen Audet drove in three runs on two hits and Meghan Noury had two runs, two RBI and one run scored as Scituate posted an 8-5 victory over Tolman in Game One of the Amica Insurance Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division III Softball Championships at the Dayna A. Bazar Softball Complex. The teams, who are meeting in the finals for the second year in a row, will play Game Two of the best-of-three series, Wednesday at 6 p.m., also at Rhode Island College.
