URI's Dan Rhault on watch list

Dan Rhault of Lincoln, the University of Rhode Island shortstop, is one of 38 college shortsops on the Brooks Wallace Award list, which will recognize the top shortstop in the nation.

Rhault, a senior, leads the Rams in hitting (.384), home runs (9), RBI (49), slugging percentage (.656), on-base percentage (.443), multiple hit games (16) and multiple RBI games (11). His RBI total of 49 is 10 shy of the URI record for a season.
