Stephanie Carlu signs with PC

Coventry volleyball star Stephanie Carlu is taking her game to Providence College. The 5-10 middle blocker signed Thursday.

"Stephanie has experience playing a number of positions, which will be a big asset to us. She is very athletic and has quick reflexes. We are happy she is a Friar," coach Margot Royer said in a statement.

Carlu was a first-team All-State, All-Division and Academic All-State and was named to the Division I all-tournament team.
