La Salle's Andrew Messner named HSGameTime Athlete of the Week

Messner, a junior midfielder, scored five goals Saturday, leading La Salle to a 15-7 victory over previously undefeated Moses Brown in boys lacrosse. The La Salle victory created a tie at the top of the Division I standings between the Rams and the Quakers, with Portsmouth only a half-game off the pace.

This week's Game of the Week pits the Rams' baseball team against undefeated Cranston West, at 4 o'clock Tuesday.
