Gawrych, Breagy still going strong at BC

Former Rhode Island standouts Samantha Gawrych and Siobhan Breagy both achieved regional qualifying marks in the 1,500 meters earlier this week. Breagy - a former All-Stater at North Kingstown who is in her second year at Boston College - won the event at Sunday's Brown Springtime Invitational with a time of 4:25.57. Gawrych, a former Westerly All-Stater now in her junior year at BC, took third in 4:27.29.
