Cranston West remains undefeated

CRANSTON - Mike McClarmon didn't waste any time giving the undefeated Cranston West baseball team all the runs Falcons actually needed for their ninth Division I victory of the season Tuesday afternoon.

McClarmon, a senior outfielder, blasted a three-run homer over the left field fence in the bottom of first inning starting the Falcons on the way to a 6-2 victory over La Salle in the HS GameTime Game of the Week.

Cranston West senior pitcher Joe Portukalian tossed a complete-game, three-hitter for his fifth victory of the season.
