Simmons headed to Stanford
Kaia Simmons, the Moses Brown senior swimmer who earned her fourth high school All-American honor this year, will be headed to the West Coast next fall to swim at Stanford University.

Simmons, who swam in the U.S. Olympic swim trials last June, earned another All-American recognition this season when she posted a 4:56.72 time en route to the title in the 500-yard freestyle at the New England prep school swim championships. Simmons closed out her high school career as the co-ed Moses Brown record-holder in the 200 and 500-yard freestyles, the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100 yard butterfly. She also established the NEPSSA record for the girls 500-yard freestyle.
