Ocean State produces several indoor All-Americans

Several Rhode Islanders earned All-America honors over the weekend by virtue of finishing in the top eight at the Nike Indoor Championships. They are:
* Weight throwers Mike Gama, of Hendricken, and Classical's Josh Faboyede.
* The Toll Gate girls' sprint medley relay.
* The Westerly boys' distance medley relay.
* Andrew Springer, Westerly, mile and two-mile.
* Coventry's Eryn Wheeler, 600 meters
* Nick Ross of East Greenwich, 5,000 meters (Ross' time of 15:13.13 stands as a new Rhode Island state record.)
