Bouyssou wins two at state wrestling meet

LINCOLN - Scituate High freshman Kaitlyn Bouyssou continued her quest to become the first girl to win a state high school wrestling title as she won her opening round and quarterfinal round matches in the R.I. Interscholastic League state tournament Friday at the Community College of Rhode Island.

Bouyssou now will meet Warwick Vet's Devon Hurst in a semifinal round match of the 103-pound class Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at CCRI. Bouyssou earned her semifinal berth with a thrilling 6-5 victory over North Kingstown's Christian Huber in the quarterfinal round.

The title matches are scheduled for Saturday night at CCRI.
