Johnston blows Tiverton away in second half to win Division III Super Bowl

Johnston scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to defeat Tiverton, 33-12, in the Division III Super Bowl today at Cranston Stadium.

The Panthers, who were tied with Tiverton at halftime, took the lead on a 31-yard touchdown run by Nick Pistacchio, and also got a 25-yard touchdown run by Michael Conti, and a 3-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Parillo to Joseph Pigitore.

Parillo finished the day with three touchdown passes. We'll have a full game story later tonight.
