Former R.I. stars to reunite in Northeastern-Holy Cross women's hoops matchup

The upcoming women's basketball matchup between Northeastern University and Holy Cross will certainly have some local flavor. Former Bay View teammates Brittany Wilson, the 2008 R.I. Gatorade Player of the Year, and Kashaia Cannon, who last season guided the Bengals to the Division I finals for the second straight year, are both now playing at Northeastern. Bethany O'Dell, a two-time All-State guard when she was at Lincoln, and 2007 R.I. Gatorade Player of the Year Meredith Ward of Westerly have joined forces at Holy Cross.

Northeastern will host the contest, Monday at 2 p.m. at the Huskies' Solomon Court in Boston.
