La Salle, South Kingstown to play for Divison I girls soccer title

The stage has been set. La Salle and South Kingstown will meet in the Division I girls final of the 2009 MetLife Soccer Classic, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pierce Stadium, having posted semifinal victories earlier tonight at Cranston Stadium.

RESULTS FROM TONIGHT'S SEMIFINALS
LA SALLE (1): Allison Kelley; assist - Briel Crespi. EAST GREENWICH (0).
Halftime - 1-0. Saves - Caroline McCabe, LS, 6; Jennifer Bannon, EG, 8.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN (4): Amanda Graham 3, Lauren Casey; assists - Katie Dufficy 2, Bryce McGillivray. WARWICK VETS (0).
Halftime - 2-0. Saves - Libby Lazar, SK, 5; Kim Courcy, WV, 25.
