Haberek, Kenwood, Bennett newest members of R.I. Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame

The Rhode Island Track Coaches Association honored the newest class of inductees into its Hall of Fame at last week's boys' cross country awards dinner, held at the Crowne Plaza at the Crossings in Warwick.

Those honored that night were Bill Haberek, Chariho track and cross-country coach and past president of the coaches association; Tom Kenwood, longtime track and cross-country coach at Cumberland; and Richard Bennett, the track and cross-country coach at Chariho from the late 1960s to the early '80s.
