DI and II girls games still on today, DIII and IV ppd. in MetLife Soccer Classic

Having consulted with Pierce Stadium facility manager Joe Medeiros and having checked the weather radar, Dick Magarian, assistant executive director of the Rhode Island Interscholastic League, has just announced that the Division I girls soccer final between La Salle and South Kingstown, scheduled for 1 p.m. at Pierce, and the Division II matchup between Bay View and Cranston West, set for 3 p.m., will still be played today.

However, the Division III and IV Championships have been postponed until tomorrow (Sunday). The Division III final between Tiverton and St. Raphael will be played at noon at Pierce Stadium. The Division IV final between Tolman and Woonsocket will be played at 2 p.m., also at Pierce.
