Dion: Ross, Feigen helping East Greenwich boys XC stay on track

East Greenwich coach Peter Dion shares his thoughts on Nick Ross' and Mark Feigen's 2-3 finish in the Boys Championship Race of the New Balance Ocean State Cross Country Invitational at Goddard Memorial State Park in Warwick that paced the Avengers to a ninth-place team finish:

"Nick and Mark ran rather well. I was very happy with their performance. Both of their late surges towards the finish line was impressive. We are right on schedule for our season goals as a team. Some had solid days and others are moving on and looking forward to the next meets on the schedule. One good thing I have noticed - good or bad performance, the boys take it to heart. It means a lot to the program to keep up with the tradition (of) EG Cross Country. Some are just learning about what it all means."
