Also, the Barrington doubles team of Sam Jerome and Ben Lucock completed an undefeated season as they posted a straight-sets victory over the South Kingstown duo of Aaron Carey and Andrew Shumate in the title match of the state doubles tourney.

Meanwhile on the adjacent courts, Portsmouth claimed its first state crown in three decades, defeating Narragansett, 6-1, in the Division III Championship.
